Fog of War!

This is a very very good movie. I suggest anyone with a political opinion on the Iraq war watch this movie.

Sigh, is crime getting worse in sf?

So here is what happened:
I was exiting the highway and pulled up to a stop sign, which happens to be right nex to a chevron that i usually fill up at. I started to talk to Jone, and I begin to hear firecrackers coming from outside the door to the left. I look out and i see flashes of light coming from a GUN! A person with a hood and baggy jeans was firing into a car. this was not more than 10 ft from me and jone in the car. He was firing "gangster" style into a escalade.. After he fired like 6-8 shots into the escalade, he started to run towards us, and then he looked right at us.. We looked straight back at him. of course it was super super dark, so we couldn't see anything. he then freaked out and started to run in a different direction. All of a sudden I had an instinct to try to find out the license plate or more information. But then I realized that Jone was in the car, and the smart thing would be to drive off and call the cops from a safe distance.
They never caught the guy, but man Im not filling up at that chevron no more.

That Girl

So I was listening to this song. The guy sounds so much like Justin Timberlake, but I found it its Frankie J.

I just finished watching Pirates of the Carribean 2.

(WARNING SPOILERS BELOW!)

I think the concept for this movie was really good. I like the build up on how all pirates must unite to fight against the E/I company.

With that aside, I think here is what I would have changed...

I would have showed how or why Captain Jack owes a debt to Davy Jones.
I would have showed a conversation between Davy Jones and Bootstrap Bill stating their relationship, and how bootstrap bill made a deal with Davy Jones.
I would have got rid of the black mark... (did this even add to anything in the story?)
If Davy Jones can suddenly appear on other people's ship, why didn't he do it when the black pearl was running from it?
It would have made more sense for Captain Jack to say he was going to stay behind to give them a chance than for Kiera knightley to trick him, and more in character. Kiera knightley loves someone who is honorable, thats why she loves Wil Turner.
I would have shown at the very end that the compass show Captain Jack should have pointed to the black pearl.. that he wanted the black pearl more than anything.
I would have made the Commodore be the helper person to the E/I.

Also I would have gotten rid of the whole pigmy thing, or at least I would have made that part of the retrieving heart part, and the whole "picture" thing.
I also would have made Davy jones do like a "unikron on galvatron" thing to bootstrap bill to make him whip wil turner.

I have other thoughts.. but i think if they did this i would have liked it better.
