Superman Theme Song

I've been wondering...
why is superman's theme song kept the same, but for batman begins its different???? I really liked the original sound track for batman.

well i suppose this goes to prove that john williams is still a genious.

hmm ... this reminds me a lot about the HighLander series.. i always the TV series of Highlander was better than the movie.. hopefully this is also true of blade..
