The Best....

So here is my current list of "the best..." by stanley wang..

and as I told one person before.. When I say its the best.. its really the best!

The best tasting non-diarrhetic indian food = Indian Oven, San Francisco

The best Dou Jang = Yung He Dou Jang, Monterey Park

The best pad thai = Marnee Thai, San francisco

the best xiao long bao = Mei Long Village, Monterey Park

the best korean bbq = Han Yang, Korea town

the best carnitas burrito = La Taqueria, Mission District San Francisco

the best fish/shrimp tacos = Pacho villa, Mission District San Francisco

LA Taiwanese/Korean food K.O's nyc + rockville+ sf + pittsburgh

So this past week, I got to go the land of milk and honey. No im not talking about the promise land. Im talking about LA! =).

I called one of my very restaurant savvy LA friends, he told me check out 2 restaurants...

Mei Long Village, and Yung he dou jang.

Man... it was great...
Mei Long Village has better xiao long bao's than.......Joe's Shanghai! =)
I know that maybe sacrilegious to some people... but its true!

Yung He Dou Jang has really fresh ingredients for its dou jang, shao bing, and you tiao.. It just tasted like quality.. as if i was back in taiwan.

Han Yang beats down Brother's in san francisco. It was the best korean bbq food i have ever had.. As my music composer friend told me, Han Yang was recommended by a korean who lives in korea town.

I guess Im going to have to wait until my next pilgrimage...

Cricket

So recently Ive been "drafted" by my office who are filled with indians, south africans, and englishmen to play Cricket..

at first I must say that i wasn't that interested.

Also, it was really hard as quickly I realized that i've had years of "baseball", and "softball" skills drilled into me.. After I every bat, i would drop the bat and run sideways towards first base. IN CRICKET, there apparently is only one other base, which is straight ahead.
Also you aren't suppose to drop the bat.. ANyways, I gave my office mates who are all "pro-cricket players" a good laugh.

It was definitely something I would try again..

Basically its baseball but for the english.

does reggie evans know monkey steal peaches?

anyways... i thought this was really funny.. ya its kind of crude.. and disgusting...

i also wanted to add my own commentary. i believe ernie johnson referred to this act as "sticking your hand in the cookie jar".
Other comments I would have made.

Reggie Evans learns ancient chinese secret of "monkey steal peaches".
Maybe he got confused on which ball was the basketball.

Dance Dance Dance

This is for my bro..
